This statement hangs in our office to remind us of the principals this company was founded on: to get the customer the best service available, no matter what.

A Local Business

As a locally owned and operated business, County Transmissions is in its second generation of ownership, bringing together the Stocks’ and Childs’ family members under one roof.

Hampton Childs, owner and president of County Transmissions, came to work for Robert Stocks in 1983 as an installer trainee, and progressed through every department in the company until he became president in 2006. He reads the Mission Statement every time he enters his office, where it still hangs on the wall in its original form, to remind him of why County Transmissions exists.
